Kings v. Pacers 12.05.14

Tonight I was able to give out one of my tickets to a fellow Instagramer, Tony! Actually, Tony has helped me edit some of the postings on this site, so I was glad to be able to get him into the game tonight. Hope you had a great time Tony!

Man, I didn't think DMC would be out for so long! I recently saw a photo of him while he was at the hospital. He must have gotten a pretty bad virus! Sign Lady made some signs wishing him well. It'll be great when he finally returns to the court.

Before the game tonight Scott Fresh and Kayte Christensen did a video spot next to the Kings locker room. The banner behind them is what you see behind Coach Malone whenever he does interviews after the game.

Here's a photo Ray McCallum and Eric Moreland warming up against each other before the game. These two often play some one-on-one with each other during the pre-game.

The Kings played the Indiana Pacers tonight, and as the Pacers were introduced, Slamson rode his rickety little car near them as a parody of the Indy 500. It's always great fun to see Slamson razz the other team in various ways.

The Kings definitely had a different look tonight as they wore retro jerseys from the 1950's. The main color scheme of these jerseys was a very patriotic red, white, and blue. Instead of saying Kings on the front, it said 'Rochester'. Rochester was one of the places the Kings played before moving to Sacramento.

Both the Kings and the Pacers were missing key parts to their team. We didn't have DeMarcus Cousins, but they didn't have Paul George. I think that overall the Kings have a stronger line-up, but it definitely wouldn't be a cake-walk tonight.

The SKD definitely got into the spirit of the fifties with their outfits and dance routines. It was so great to see them in their 50's themed dresses. The SKD performances tonight were some of the best they have done all season so far.

It was not an easy game to win even though the Kings were up by nearly 20 points during the game. The Pacers fought back all the way to force overtime. Here's JT taking the tip for the overtime period.

This game took the entire Kings team to finish with a victory. Many players contributed to getting a 'W' in the win column tonight. Rudy Gay had the ball at the end of the game, but he missed his shot. Carly Landry was able to get the rebound and put the ball back in the hole with just 0.8 seconds remaining.

It was an extremely exciting game to be a part of. I think many of the fans would have been just fine with a comfortable lead and blow out, but that's not how it went down. Kings won, and that's all that matters!
