Kings v. Mavs 11.30.15

Tonight was video game night at the arena, and the Kings got into it by putting classic video games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders at all the entrances to the bowl levels. They were set to free play so fans could just hop on and have some fun! As an added bonus, the fans with the highest scores could win prizes.

Slamson had to get in on the video game fun today... and here he is dressed as everybody's favorite plumber Mario. Looks like Slamson had to gain a little bit of weight to tackle this particular role.

The Sacramento Kings Dancers wore special Nintendo t-shirts throughout the night. I'm sure video game fans didn't have any complaints about that!

I invited my friend Sasha to come to this game. She's been studying really hard at school and definitely needed a night out. Sasha's a big Kings fan and video game fanatic! Tonight was just perfect for her.

Prizes were parachuted down to the fans! I'd never seen anything like this before - it was really awesome, actually. Seeing all the parachutes come down was quite a sight at the arena.

The Kings were taking on the Mavs today. The Mavs are a good team with Dirk heading up their main attack. His shot is so smooth when you see it live. He never seems to miss!

The game had some lead changes, but in the end the Kings came out on top and won this one by a good margin. It is so great seeing a Kings win... these need to happen A LOT more.

The Kings are headed to Mexico City to take on the Celtics on Thursday as part of the NBA's global games. I really wish I could see that game as Isaiah Thomas would be there. Oh well, I'll just have to watch it on TV. The next Kings home game won't be until next Tuesday.
